About Me

I am a contradiction: I love exploring and randomly walking around random places but I hate exercising and am lazy. I hated having to walk to work in the morning, yet on the weekends I would wander around a random area of Greater Boston and refuse to go home until it is getting dark.

I am a recent graduate of Boston University. I studied public relations and tried to take as many Italian and African American Studies classes as I could. It didn’t go well.

I am from Bristol, Connecticut (yes, the home of ESPN; yes, I have toured it; no, you can’t.) and am currently back in UConn territory. I moved to Boston four years ago for school and I am absolutely in love with it. I also was able to study abroad in London the spring of my junior year. That allowed me to travel to seven different countries in Europe and take advantage of the different cultures of the world. That was an absolutely fabulous experience and if anyone has any questions about London or studying abroad (at BU/in general) let me know!

I am very sarcastic. I do not like the Red Sox. I have always been a diehard Mets fan and always will be. I am in love with the team. And the National League, but that is a whole other story. I am from CT, so I am a UConn fan- football and basketball. I love watching college football on Saturdays better than the NFL on Sundays. I would also rather watch college basketball rather than the NBA. But, really, when you get down to it, and most importantly, I am just a sports fan.

Sam: Great start. Really well written and engaging content. Clever. Like your “about me” copy. Plenty of visuals.

Keep trying to “be true to your own voice” and work to set this apart from other “Boston blogs.” Work harder to engage your readers. Provoke them. Stimulate two-way conversation.
